There are many quotes I like, from many sources like Eleanor Roosevelt, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Annie Oakley, and such. But my very favorite, and most inspiring, quote is from my own grandmother. It follows.

You can write your autobiography and it will be your truth. Your life is as important to the making of future history as that of president or general. You are telling the people who follow after you, the people you love, just what life has meant to you. No one else can do it.
